Next you need to decide on a theme, Wordpress.com comes with quite a few designs, try to choose one that allows you to custom design your top banner, so that it matches your website. If your blog is hosted within your website, then it will look like part of the website, thus potential viewers will not be steered away from your site like external blogs.

  Maintenance
Blogs have become increasingly popular in the past five years and is taking the internet by storm. Many people enjoy both blogging and reading blogs, scouring the internet to find interesting news to read about. If your Blog is interesting and updated regularly, readers will continue to visit again and again. If your blog is not updated often, readers tend to lose interest.
